Web Host Manager is master control panel usign which you can manage all your Web  hosting accounts and can install specific applications for your accounts such as installing SSL certificates, creating hosting accounts, assigning diskspace, bandwidth etc….
WHM allows you to install SSL cert for domains under your account. Once you received/generated SSL certificate from provider you can install it using WebHost Manager.
Most basically you will have to get certificate and key files to install that certificate. The SSL certificate is noting but a text file; it is encrypted data which can be understand by your web server when installed as a digital certificate.
It is always recommended that you make a back-up of your certificate and  keep it at safe place, this will help you to get it back in case of server crashes.  once you signup/paid for SSL certificate you will get your certificate at your registered email. You need to copy the certificate from your email and paste it onto some text editing application such as notepad, editpad etc…and save it as yourdomain.txt at more secure location.

How to install an SSL certificate :
*) Start with clicking Install SSL certificate and setup Domain link in SSL/TLS menu.
*) Enter all required information in respective filed such as Domain name, User name and IP address for that certificate.
*) Click on “FETCH” button to paste the key and existing .crt files if they are currently on your server else just copy-paste .key and .crt files at specified fields.
*) If you generate this certificate usign WHM then you certificate files will be available for you.
*) You need to replace your existing .crt file with your certificate file ie the file you saved as yourdomain.txt which you got in your email from Certificate provider.
*) click on “Done”
That’s all your SSL is installed for your required domain.
